  • Warren is a qualified Mechanical Engineer, Project Risk Professional and Complex Systems Theorist who specialises in assisting large-complex project delivery environments to embed appropriate governance, risk & assurance practices to better reflect the degree of investment at risk.

    Warren has worked within numerous complex project environments across most industries & geographies. His largest responsibility to date was as the Risk Lead for the $27 billion, BG QCLNG natural gas program. In the last 2 years Warren has lead the development of the risk & assurance frameworks for Australia’s two largest publicly funded infrastructure PMO’s, as well as one of Australia’s largest Inner City Rail Projects.

    Warren’s is also currently in his 3rd year of a PHD by Research (part time) within the Queensland University of Technology’s Engineering & Science Faculty, whereby he is researching how advanced system complexity influences project risk – primarily in the form of emergence, disruption & chaos. For his work in 2017/18 he was awarded Risk Advisor of the Year (2018) by the Risk Management Institute of Australia.
