John spent over fifteen years as World bank Project Director in what was the then British Solomon Islands and the Republic of Indonesia. Upon settling in Australia John has spent the last 20 years in senior management positions ranging from Foundation General Manager of a medical start-up company to Risk Manager with Sinclair Knight Mertz (now Jacobs Engineering). The last fifteen years have been focused on risk management across multiple sectors. For the last three years he has held the position of Risk Manager for the Queensland Department of Transport and Main Roads. During this time several risk initiatives have been designed, developed, and implemented to assist Project Managers and Engineers in the effective and efficient risk management of transport network infrastructure projects; mainly roads and bridges. John holds higher degrees in education and financial economics.
